A one-year contract is available to fund a post-doctoral position, as part of a collaboration between two investigators in Rennes, France:

The project focuses on the cellular and molecular mechanisms involved in the deleterious effects of physical inactivity, by especially targeting the iron metabolism and its potential role in the development of insulin resistance. The fellow researcher has performed postgraduate studies in the field of exercise biology and muscle and/or liver metabolism. The beneficiary and partner organization are one of the few research institutes in Europe specializing in exercise physiology and iron metabolism.
